This experience includes property and business interruption claims emanating from bomb blasts to floods, in industries as diverse as chemical warehouses to orchards. Whilst still actively involved in property and business interruption losses, in recent years John’s claims portfolio has shifted to feature significantly more litigation support and liability instructions. John is the immediate past President of AICLA in Western Australia and was previously the Vice President of AICLA Australasia.     John Fisher Director Qualifications Qualified Civil Engineer - with 30 years' experience Associate, Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators, Australia Experience: Construction Engineering and Purchasing Heavy concrete construction, tunnelling, water and sewer construction, major concrete and steel construction during construction of alumina refinery, installation and commissioning of major mining equipment. Contract negotiation and administration for multi million dollar construction contracts. Civil Contracting and Consultancy Technical and contractual administration of contracting organisations - including quarrying, concrete and bituminous products manufacture and installation, earthmoving, transportation, tyre wholesaling and retailing, major commercial building. Marine Services Establishment, ownership and management of a commercial ship repair facility. Loss Adjusting Claims handled include major losses on pastoral stations, a $30 million claim at a large civil engineering and manufacturing operation outside Onslow in NW Western Australia, powerhouse and control room fires for an energy generation company, and major claims associated with construction and mining industries throughout Western Australia. Provision of engineering and commercial experience to loss adjusting - including specific application to property damage and liability claims for mining and contracting companies.
